We really do apologize for the sparseness of the updates here, I’m sure that all of you understand how crazy life is, though!
A quick recap of the last three months are as follows:
We were blessed to have Rachel’s parents come for a visit during the last week of November. The kids enjoyed their grandparents and we were blessed by their joyful support and encouragement in regards to the ministry we are involved with here. We were also able to celebrate Hanukkah together with them, which was a blessing and a fun experience for us all! Praise Jesus for being the Light that came to our darkness!
In December our family started an extreme healing diet, in hopes of helping Rachel’s many food intolerances diminish. The first week on the diet was extremely hard, but since then we have all been doing well and are so thankful for some of Rachel’s allergies subsiding. Namely, her allergy to eggs! Praise Jesus! This diet is supposed to last for about 18 months, so please pray for strength to continue, and continued healing for Rachel.
After church on the 12th we all piled into the van and drove down to spend a week with Rachel’s parents in Florida. Our "going away party" consisted of about 10 neighborhood kids crowding in and around our van giving the kids hugs and asking us a million questions about where we were going and what the kids were going to do about school. :) Jason spent the first few days of our trip replacing the sink base in their bathroom with a dresser that he converted into a sink base. It was pretty impressive! On the 17th we did a concert at the 1Way Cafe, which Rachel’s parents run in their church building once a month. It was a blessing to be able to share some of our songs with other believers. The kids also enjoyed spending time with their cousins while we were down there.
Life Fellowships
The church plant has been going extremely well - what a blessing from the Lord! We are still meeting in the same house on Sundays, and have also began a men's study on Friday mornings and a women’s study on Saturday mornings. Jason and Tony have been trading off teaching every other Sunday, going through the book of Matthew. If you would like to listen to any of the messages, they are online at our website: lifefellowships.com.

The Saturday evening Bible study in our neighborhood is also being blessed. At the beginning of this month three neighborhood boys stopped by to listen and one of them accepted Jesus as his savior! What a blessing! Please pray for these boys, as they have not been back and we don’t know where they live.
Thank you all for your continued prayers as we follow our Father here in the Charleston area. We are so blessed and eager to see His work be done! For more prayer requests, please check out our prayer page.

Wish I could have seen/talked to you more. It was SUCH a treat to see your family at the Cafe! Don would have loved it (and...maybe he did!)
Praying for you always,
Love,
Mary Olin
Ditto to Mary's first statement. It was great to have you all with us, but it was toooooooo short! Mom
Thanks for the update, friends! Hugs from Michigan. :-)
