Well friends, another couple months have passed since we last wrote you, so it seems an update is due. :)
GitLit
After a pretty chilly winter (don’t laugh, you northerners!), it’s finally warm enough at night to get outside again! This past Saturday was GitLit’s first night out in the past couple of months. We’d been watching all the kids (there’s usually about 10 of them) at our house, while the adults met in the Brooks’ playroom for the study. :) It was a blessing, but last week we were reminded of why we were meeting outside: As Thomas was putting up the tent, a neighbor lady from across the street came over to see if anyone could come to the study. (Of course!) So last night she came and brought her grandson. Rachel was also able to talk with a girl who had been out riding her bike and stopped to hear the music. :) Please keep these neighbors in prayer: Ruby and her grandson, and Brianna.
A couple weeks ago we were also able to go out on a prayer/witnessing walk around the neighborhood. This also included some impromptu rapping and street ball, as well as a few good conversations. :) Please keep those contacts in prayer as well.
Life Fellowships
We are still blessed to be fellowshipping in one of the family’s houses weekly, though the Haverkorns have been looking for a small building to rent. We’ll see what God has in store for us! You can check out all the latest news and messages on our website: LifeFellowships.com.
Family News
Quite a bit has been happening around here lately. February was sort-of a crazy month with a big winter storm hitting us hard. All the freezing rain and ice caused more damage than we ever saw during our years of long winters in Montana! On top of our power being out for a whole day and night (which was not bad at all compared to the thousands who had their’s out for longer) one of the many branches that fell around our house landed on our van, breaking the side window. The environmental dangers continued into March, which brought us our first earthquake experience.
On a happier note, in February we celebrated Havah’s 7th birthday (wow), and Mercy lost her first tooth, and in March Bethany *finally* completed her course in daytime potty training. :)
Next week we’re driving down to Florida to spend a week with Rachel’s parents, we’ll get back in time to celebrate Passover and the Feast of Unleavened Bread. The kids are very excited about both of these things. :)
That's all for now, friends! Thanks for stopping by and checking out what's going on with us Todds. :) We hope you all are able to spend some time focusing on our Father's great love for you!
