On the third day of camp a group of Koreans came on a mission trip. They were friends of the Korean missionaries that attend the Baptist church with us. They stayed for two days and were a hit with their balloon tying and face painting. One of the team members, who was a drum teacher back in Korea, played the drums with us during the music in the evening service. He also gave the kids drum lessons during the day. During the evening service they also performed musical routines and the missionary who attends our church gave a message. Since he doesn’t speak much Russian, his son translated for him.
Mercy enjoying her balloon doggie
During all the face painting and balloon making excitement, Havah wandered off. When we found her she was deep in conversation with one of the counselors. Seeing as he didn’t speak any English, the conversation was a little one-sided. He still seemed to be enjoying it though. :o)
