Just an Update

Saturday Jason will be going out to the campsite with some other guys from the church. They will be setting up for the camps, which begin on the 24th of this month. He's a little nervous, but he hopes to be a help and not get in the way, even though he can't speak Russian fluently yet. I am not too excited to be home alone either, seeing as I've been sick for the past few days. Praise the Lord that he is with us through everything, and he is good!

Since our last prayer letter we have been so encouraged by all the responses we have gotten in regards to sponsoring orphans for the last camp! We are so excited to see what the Lord will do in their lives during those days. Thank you all so much for being willing to be used of the Lord in this way. The church here is blessed to know that these children will be able to attend the camp.

As we prayed about our involvement in the camps, we felt led to attend only the orphan camp, which runs from the 20th-31st of July. When we made ourselves available for service in this camp, we were told that there was no one helping out with the music. So that is our assignment. Needless to say, we are both pretty nervous about this. We don't really know any Russian praise songs yet, and the ones we are starting to know are still a way from being 'performable.'

Please continue to keep us in your prayers as we prepare for the camp. We greatly desire to be used by the Lord, despite our inability to fully communicate!
