What we've been up to these past few months...

Dear friends and family,

So much has happened in our lives since our last update. I feel like I say that every time I write. : ) God is good! His faithful love is forever!

To begin with the beginning of the year, January found us in California staying with Jason's parents while we attended the Calvary Chapel Missions Conference in Murietta. The theme of the conference was God builds His church, and were encouraged to trust in God for his leading in our lives. What a blessing it is to be able to attend.

A few days after the conference Jason flew off to India to teach at the Great Harvest Bible College for 3 weeks. Despite the mosquitoes and rice 3x a day, Jason was blessed to have the opportunity to teach and enjoyed getting to know the students and staff at the school, as well as ministering to the local fellowships and participating in evangelism outreaches. You can read some of the stories he wrote back at the blog we put up for that trip: God's Word To Asia 2012. There are testimonies and prayer request there. What a blessing it was to see God working among the people of India!

While Jason was overseas, the kids and I stayed with his parents in California. It was such a blessing to be able to spend that time with them and have extra help with the kids! Grandma and Grandpa took wonderful care of all of us. : )

Jason's surprise for me when he got home.
Havah saw it and said, "Why did you do that to your face, Papa?"
It didn't last long... :)
Upon our return to Montana the beginning of February, Jason was able to work about 1 week before braking a bone in his hand while helping out on a church remodeling project. After a trip to Urgent Care and a couple x-rays, he was referred to a surgeon. The next morning the surgeon reviewed the x-rays, retook them, and announced that "for some odd reason" Jason's bone had gone back into place. : ) Praise the Lord for his "odd reasons." Haha. Jason's hand is now in a brace for the next 2 weeks. He hasn't been able to work, but God has taken care of all our needs. I jokingly told Jason that God allowed him to have this month off so that we could make up for all the time we were apart while he was in India. : )

And lastly, but definitely not leastly, little Todd number 4 is due to make his/her appearance in early July. The girls are very excited to have another sibling and are already picking out names, some of which are made up. : )

Hopefully future updates will not be so few and far-between. We will try and keep you in-the-know on what God is doing in our lives! We still wait and trust that he is preparing us to go back to Russia eventually, but will follow wherever (or stay put)! Thank you all for your prayers and support!
