Here We Go Again. . . .

At the end of our last post wayyyy back in January, we mentioned the possibility of joining some friends in a church planting work down in South Carolina. Well, in a few short weeks that possibility is going to become our new reality. On July 9th we will hit the road with Rachel's parents and begin the 4-day trek from Bozeman, Montana, to Ladson, South Carolina.

The month of June has been full of garage sales, craigslistings, packing, toting things to Vision Beyond Borders and the thrift store, and giving things away. Instead of renting a huge truck to drive all of our earthly possessions to the other side of the country, we are trying to get rid of everything but our beds, clothes, and dishes. And that one special rocking chair Jason has had since high school. . . .

Havah is pretty happy about this move. She is convinced that she's told all her friends here in Bozeman about God, so she needs to go somewhere else.  : ) Judah is also happy about it, though he doesn't really understand what's going on. Mercy, ever the odd one, is not terribly happy (though she does seem excited to drive for 4 days). She is sad to leave her friend and afraid that she won't make any new ones. Please pray for her dear little heart to trust in the One who gives us friendships. : )

As of last Tuesday we are praising the Father for providing a place for us to live once we arrive in SC. A little three bedroom brick house with a fenced in backyard! What a blessing!

One of our biggest prayers in regards to this move is that Jason would continue to be able to work from home. God has been blessing our little web design business, but the majority of our clientele is in Bozeman. Most of our clients have assured us that they are willing to work with us long distance, but we would appreciate prayer that this transition would go smoothly.

Other than work, prayers for safety and sanity during our trip would be appreciated.  : ) Hopefully in the future we will be able to keep you more informed about how the Father is working in our lives.  Thank you all for your prayers!
