Merry Christmas from the Todds!

Well, it's almost that special day when we celebrate the wonder of God becoming man. How amazing is His love for us! He has truly blessed us through the years, and 2010 was not an exception.

In the past 2 months we have been blessed with visits from both sides of our family. Jason's mom came out two days after Judah was born and in the end of November both of Rachel's parents came out for a visit. Both moms were a huge blessing to us by cooking and taking care of the girls.

This month we are excited to be able to take a family trip down to California to introduce Judah to his Grandpa Todd and then attend Calvary Chapel's annual missions conference. We are open for any further direction that the Lord may provide during the conference.

The kids are growing like weeds (even in the winter), and it is an exhausting sort of joy to try and keep up with them. Havah will be four years old in February and she is very excited about this. :o) Since Judah was born she has entered into the "mothering" stage of big-sister-hood. She is a very good helper, but sometimes her help is a little overwhelming! Mercy is still getting used to the whole "big sister" thing, but she's doing pretty well. She finally stopped asking if she could poke Judah and has moved on to kisses. :o) Both the girls enjoyed being angels in our church's kids Christmas play, and Havah made everyone laugh by admiring her own shadow on the stable wall during the preschooler's production. Judah is now almost 3 months old and we are blessed by his beautiful (er... handsome) smile and his sweet little voice. He is generally happy and loves to be held by his multiple junior high girlfriends at church. :o)

As far as our future is concerned, we are trusting our Father to continue to direct us and provide for all our needs. Jason has been blessed with enough subcontracting work to get us by these past few months, and God continues to keep us healthy, warm, full, and without want. We are blessed and humbled by the loving way He takes care of us. This past year has been so full of change for our little family, but God is faithful to us through it all. We are excited to see what He holds for us in the future and while we wait, we are drawing closer to Him and learning to trust Him more.
