Update from June 2010

Hello friends & family!

Just in case any of you were wondering how we are doing since returning to the States last month, here's an update for you....

"Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for Him...." Psalm 37:7

This verse has been in the back of our minds during this last month. After three enjoyable weeks in California with Jason's family, we set off on a massive road/plane trip to Illinois and Florida. Our first stop was our hometown of Bozeman to drop off all our belongings. Then we drove up through North Dakota and east to Illinois, to see Rachel's aunt and uncle and visit our church family there. After a few days there we flew from Chicago to Tampa to visit Rachel's parents and their church for 3 weeks. Now we are back in Illinois for another few days before driving back to Montana.

Even though the girls have been enjoying all the time spent with grandparents, they are tired of all the traveling and new faces and are ready to settle in and stay somewhere for longer than 3 weeks.  Their parents are ready too! :o)

During this whole trip we have been trying to rest in our Father and trust that He would provide all of our needs - mainly meaning an apartment and a job when we get back to Bozeman. And, praise the Lord, He has provided an apartment for us already! One afternoon while skimming Facebook, Rachel noticed that some missionary friends were looking for tenants for their apartment in Bozeman. (Apparently good things can come from Facebook...) We checked into it, and after a few e-mails back and forth, we now have a place of our own when we arrive in Bozeman! We continue to wait on Him for a job, and would appreciate your prayers in that area.

During our time in the States we will be taking a break from writing monthly prayer letters. If you still want to find out what is going on in our lives, we will be trying to update this blog every month (at least) - so please check it out, or feel free to become our friend on Facebook! :o) We will make sure, though, to send out a letter about the camp in Blago when we get the info from our friends in Russia. :o)

Wow - Praise God for your new "home" in Bozeman. My sister has sensed the Lord calling her to go to Oregon for a while now, and she has also has such an incredible new "home" story too. Now all she needs is a job too. :-) Prayers and love to you all!
