Tonight Jason headed over to the church for prayer meeting, like he does most Wednesday nights. Due to our poor (though increasingly better) understanding of anything that is said during church services, he was unaware that this Wednesday prayer meeting was being replaced by a meeting about the 40 Days of Purpose! Not to worry, no one seemed to mind that he came to the meeting.
The meeting was to educate the small group leaders about what to expect from the coming days, as they started the small groups, and some basic information on what the 40 Days of Purpose is all about. After the meeting our friend Olga, who is an English teacher here, invited us to attend her small group. We are hoping that we will be able to attend.
Jason was encouraged to hear that the church is going to be meeting and praying for one another more. Praise the Lord! Our heart for this church is that they would grow inwardly (small groups) and outwardly (church plants, etc.). Please pray that the body and the leaders of the small groups would have unity and be encouraged as they take this step.
