A Prayer and a Praise

We may have a flat. At least a temporary one. Last week on Sunday a lady at church told the pastor that she would like us to rent her flat. He told the landlord of the flat we're staying in, and the landlord told us. We haven't seen it, and we don't know how much the rent is, but we do know that it's across the street from the school and it's a one room flat.

Hopefully we will be able to look at the flat before we are asked to make a decision. We agreed with the landlord that it would be good for us to have a place of our own, no matter how small. Maybe the Lord will open up a door for a 2 room flat later down the road...

Please keep this in mind as you pray. We appreciate all you faithful prayer warriors!

On Wednesday after Jason's Russian lesson, two girls approached him and invited him to their English club. They were having a movie night. Jason went and was saddened to find out the movie they were planning to watch was complete trash. He prayed about it, and didn't feel the Lord telling him to leave, so he stayed. They put the movie in and it didn't have any English language options, so they chose a different movie. And that movie was the Da Vinci Code. But (praise the Lord!) when they put it in and it was the wrong region! So they weren't able to watch that one either. They ended up watching Tears of the Sun, which, although it has some language, is a pretty good story about a missionary! They went from trash to heresy to missionary. God is good!

So not only was Jason able to make a new friend - he didn't have to be subjected to garbage while doing so. And praise the Lord those Russian kids didn't have to get confused by the Da Vinci Code either.

The girls hav
ing their own movie night - Kung-Fu Panda.
