Cows

These past few weeks we've been working with Havah on what animals say. Every now and again it seems that she understands that a cow says 'moo', but she won't ever answer us when we ask her. She just walks around saying 'moo' or 'cow' whenever it pops into her head.

Last night we had a breakthrough though. While listening to her story, she saw some sheep and said, "Moo."

"No, Havah," we told her. "The cow says 'moo', the sheep says, 'baaah'."

We then went through a list of animals and what they say. When we were finished we asked her again what the cow says, but she just ran around laughing.

A couple of minutes later she was hiding behind the rocking chair when I heard her say to herself: "Say cow.... moo." We had a good laugh at that!
